Monitoring of the environmental conditions of a calibration laboratory is necessary to insure quality calibrations are performed.  Environmental monitoring is a requirement for most forms of accreditation.  In addition, knowledge of ambient air density is necessary for buoyancy corrections when using piston gauges or performing mass calibrations.  Fluke Calibration products include the 2456-LEM Laboratory Environment Monitor and the 1620A DewK Thermometer-Hygrometer.
