Is it possible to to get replacement probes that fit the T6-1000 which are less exposed? I'm not supposed to use such exposed tips in my work.

Asked by: Ross
Both Fluke TP74 Lantern Tip Test Probes (Model#: TP74) and Fluke TP175 TwistGuard™ Test Probes (Model#: Fluke TP175) work with the Fluke T6-1000.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Inferior product at a premium price.. Straight out of the box, had issues with fluctuating and bouncing numbers.. Had re-tested other probes to ensure the issue wasn't of another nature.. confirmed the new probes to be the problem. Had tried polishing and cleaning the probes (brand new product) to no prevail.. Expected more.. didn't get it. Save your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic Probes They're basic probes. It's nice that they have removable insulators that leave just the tips of the probes exposed, but they could be easily lost and are a bit of pain to remove. If they screwed on, it might work better. I keep them in a small zip-lock bag in my meter case. I like the idea of the probes where you twist to expose the whole probe or just the tip, but I think they're overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile - most used probes in my Tool Bags Cat II do to the exposed tip length but invaluable addition for making positive connection with Receptacles and more ( minimize False Zero readings due to missing internal parts)
