Hi, does the 709 have enough power for connecting directly to a smart valve positioner ( without using a external power supply) - for stroke testing - say a fisher DVC .
The Fluke 709, 709H, and 710 Precision mA Loop Calibrators, can stroke most valves. Maximum load impedance for the valve must be 1200 ohms or less to drive a 4-20 mA signal.
