Fluke T6 Electrical Testers win NECA Showstopper Award

EVERETT, Wash., Oct. 28, 2014 – The Fluke® 1000FLT Fluorescent Light Tester has been recognized in the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) Showstopper Awards as one of the top products at the 2014 NECA Convention. The NECA Showstopper Awards highlight new products and services that help electrical contractors on the job.

“The Fluke 1000FLT Fluorescent Light Tester gives electrical contractors a quick and easy way to test lamps in seconds versus the usual trial and error method of lamp maintenance,” said Ernie Chan, business unit manager for Fluke electrical test products. “The NECA Showstopper Award is validation of the value the 1000FLT brings to electrical contractors.”

The Fluke 1000FLT Fluorescent Light Tester , which was introduced in September, eliminates the guesswork of maintaining fluorescent lamps by performing all the essential tests on lamps in less than 30 seconds: lamp tester, ballast tester, non-contact voltage detector, pin continuity tester, and ballast discriminator. The 1000FLT eliminates trial, error, and rework, and reduces the time maintenance teams spend fixing lights.
