Rated 5 out of 5 by JRGTC INC from Excellent voltmeter got right stuff This little meter shines in comparison to other meters for the $$. It's 3rd party tested with credentials, it's Fluke which means it rugged and accurate. I teach electrical safety so the T5-600 and T5-1000 are my go to so as to give my apprentices and techs the safest and best meter at a price point and size affordable and convenient

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Only checks AC amperage This only checks AC amperage and not DC. It doesn’t even mention that in the description. I wasted my $$ on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TWeed from Money well spent This is one of those tools that not only can I not live with out, but truly feel like I got my monies worth.
Upon my retirement as a vocational instructor I had to buy my own meter after years of having one supplied to me. After years of purchasing this meter for my students and seeing the abuse that a high school student can put them thru there was no question in my mind what I was going to buy.
I still have my original "Wiggy" that I got as an apprentice 40 years ago. I have every expectation that my Fluke T5-600 will be around just as long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rangerteddy from A nearly perfect electrical test The t5 600 works as intended, it can check ac/dc voltages, ac amps and ohms/continuity. Honestly this tester is nearly perfect and I can't take off points for options the product does not offer to begin with but I do think that adding a backlight to the t5 line would add a lot of value to an already great tester. I was debating going with a t6 just for the backlight on the screen alone but the extra cost and field sense feature did not seem worth the $.

Rated 4 out of 5 by beanhead88 from great limited range tester for everyday functions I brought mine in 2006 so its about 13 yrs old, and its seen and been through it all and theres been no real issues! My only complaint (and id be glad to be corrected) is that you cant mesure amps between A+N with the test probes to see what an outlet cct may be drawing. But for the price and ease of use, and the probe holder on the meter (which is a great function imo) its a good little all rounder!
