Fluke Connect Chief Architect on “Mobile Worker Enablement” panel at Smart Industry 2016

EVERETT, Wash., Sept 26, 2016 – Chief Architect and Director of Product Management for Fluke Connect, John Neeley, will be a panelist at Smart Industry 2016, to be held at The Drake Hotel, Chicago, September 26-28. Together with Fluke customer Linamar Corporation, Neeley will demonstrate the benefits of adopting wireless, mobile condition based maintenance technology. The “Mobile Worker Enablement” panel, part of the Cloud and Mobility track at the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) show, will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, September 27th.

“To achieve their uptime and productivity goals, maintenance and operations managers need to enable everyone on their team to be part of a longer-term condition-based maintenance solution, but until recently, that’s been hard to accomplish,” said Neeley. “Working together with customers like Linamar, Fluke is utilizing smart devices, the IIoT and its Fluke Connect SaaS platform to make it far easier for technicians to collect data and respond to work orders. And with better access to accurate, cohesive data, maintenance managers can more readily make rapid decisions and communicate across all levels of the team.”

The Smart Industry panel will examine how pervasive wireless connectivity through smartphones, tablets, and special purpose tools and applications are delivering prescriptive information as well as facilitating real-time collaboration with colleagues —upping workers’ productivity and effectiveness. Preview the discussion at Smart Industry.

At the Fluke booth, attendees will also get a first look at the world’s first Fluke Connect-enabled portable condition monitoring system as well as other connected test tools and software that harness the IIoT to improve equipment reliability and worker efficiency. Fluke Condition Monitoring is available for pre-order now. For more information, stop by the Fluke booth at Smart Industry 2016, watch this video, or visit www.fluke.com/conditionmonitoring.
