Is there a setting that will allow the 985 distinguish between which particles it is detecting? Possibly if it picks up CO2. I originally wanted a Fluke 975 but they are discontinued, so we bought this one. Thanks

Asked by: BryGuy
The Fluke 985 Particle Counter does not define the size, or other parameters, of particles only count.

Can readings be streamed live over the USB/Ethernet connection? Or can data only be exported via USB/Ethernet after recording?

Asked by: Nathaniel
Data from the 985 cannot be streamed live via USB or ethernet, but you can view data trends live on the 985 display in the Trend Data mode. And once a recording or session is complete, you can then move the data to a PC either with the USB cable, USB flash drive or ethernet cable. With the latest firmware revision you can select the data to be exported as a xls or tsv format.

In our facility, we do not operate the Fluke regularly (maybe once a month). After how many uses is it suggested to calibrate the 985?
