Fluke Calibration Support Plans Terms and Conditions

Special Terms and Conditions

The following important limitations, restrictions, and requirements apply to Fluke Calibration Premium Care Plans:

Registration & RMA are Required

To receive service, register your instrument at http://www.fluke.com/gcpreg and get a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before sending it in. If your instrument isn’t registered or lacks an RMA, service may be delayed or denied.

Calibration Turnaround and Availability

Turnaround times and availability vary depending on product and location. Contact your local Fluke Calibration representative for details on approximate turnaround times in your region.

Shipping

Priority shipping times and methods vary by country and courier. Shipping options are selected by Fluke, at its discretion. For international shipments, customers are responsible for return freight and customs.

Repair Coverage Timing – One and Two Year Plans

Calibrations can be used anytime after registration.

  • Within the first 60 days after purchase of the Care Plan (a “non-covered repair”): you receive a 15% discount on then-current standard repair rates.
  • After the first 60 days of purchase of the Care Plan: standard repairs are covered.
  • You can also apply your plan’s calibration to a non-covered repair (requires separate billing authorization).

Repair Coverage Timing – Three-, Four-, and Five-Year Plans

Repair coverage starts immediately.

Non Standard Repairs

Certain parts are excluded from coverage under Fluke Premium Care Plans. These include but are not limited to QBT’s, QRPT’s or PM600 Modules. Replacement of these parts will be charged at standard rates.

Damage Exclusions

Instruments damaged by misuse or improper operation are not eligible for free repair as determined by Fluke at its sole discretion. However, you’ll receive a 15% discount on then-current standard repair rates.

Older Instruments

Older instruments may require a pre-inspection (for a small fee) to determine eligibility. If not suitable, alternative care options may be offered if available.

Calibration Type

Fluke’s global calibration program is based upon ISO/IEC 17025. Calibrations covered by Fluke service contracts are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 wherever possible. Some products comply with legacy calibration quality system requirements or to those documented in Fluke’s ISO 9001 management system.

Return Shipping Method

  • Instruments under 150 lbs: Returned via priority air.
  • Instruments over 150 lbs: Returned via priority ground.
