For with the time saved; you can reduce costs by using the only tester that has the ability to have all your essential tools for performing lighting tests in less than 30 seconds. Surprising to me most was when testing this I loved the fluorescent lighting making this another item I may consider get again for my in-laws home so they'll be prepared in the event of an unforeseen event.Most shocking that of the gadget for which 5 essential lighting test types can be performed! Especially in confined areas you can perform a lamp test (test bulbs) without removing from a fixture, a ballast test (to ensure the ballast is working), has a non-contact voltage detector to determine if there's voltage present, has a pin continuity test to check filaments for continuity and also performs a ballast-type test that determines if the ballast is electronic or magnetic. More so, I am often having to reach high up, on the ceiling and / or on the wall, this amazing machine (1000FLT) has been designed to survive drops of up to six feet (2 metres) and comes as standard with a 3 year warranty for assurance that it's quality made.
