• Several issues on CAN, FF and Profibus DP have been resolved (2x5C only)

Upgrading Version V7.0x, V8.00 or V8.02 to Version V8.04 - Instruments with version V7.01 to V8.02 are field upgradable free of charge. Click here to download the FlashTool software that allows you to upgrade the instrument firmware.

FlashTool Software Requirements:

• Fluke 190C/2x5C Series Color ScopeMeter, with firmware V7.0 1V 8.0 2. (See firmware level check below).
• A PC running Windows XP or Vista, with a free RS-232 or USB port to perform the software installation.
• PM9080 or OC4USB (RevII) optically isolated serial interface cable (as included with the ScopeMeter 19xC/S model and with the SCC-190 kit) for data interconnection between the PC and the instrument.

Upgrading Earlier Versions - Instruments with firmware version V5.0x and V6.x cannot be upgraded to V8.04 in the field. These instruments require re-calibration after upgrading. Therefore these units must be returned to a Fluke Authorized Service Center. Contact your local service center and order a firmware upgrade and calibration according to PCN 4841. Note: For the firmware upgrade and calibration a nominal fee will be charged.

Firmware Level Check - Press USER and F3 [VERSION & CAL …] on your ScopeMeter to check its firmware version.

A firmware upgrade for ScopeMeter test tool 190B Series is available, major changes are:

• Remote control improved (V7.06)
• Zoom in 2s/div timebase setting improved and micro symbol added in readings symbol table (V7.04)

Upgrading Earlier Versions - Instruments with firmware version V5.0x and V6.x cannot be upgraded to V7.06 in the field. These instruments require re-calibration after upgrading. • Improved TrendPlot scaling
• Improved voltage readings stability
• When performing a TrendPlot of an Input A measurement, the probe attenuation factor of Input B was shown.
• If a meter TrendPlot is acquired in FlukeView 4.0, it can show a scaling error. This happens if a previously acquired TrendPlot had different range or probe attenuator settings.

Upgrading Earlier Versions - Instruments with firmware version V1.0x cannot be upgraded to V2.03.

• The new firmware provides probe settings 20:1 and 200:1 for the DP120 differential probe. The 1000:1 probe setting has been canceled
• In the previous firmware the print function only supports A4 paper format
• Probe settings 1000:1, 10 mV/mA, and 0.1 mV/A have been added
• When a temperature or diode measurement is trendplotted, and the Fluke123 is switched off and on again, the vertical scaling information is shown
• The trigger icon in VIDEO mode is automatically set to negative edge ( ) at VIDEO POLARITY POSITIVE, and to positive edge ( ) at VIDEO POLARITY NEGATIVE. This reflects the actual trigger edge
• The following bug has been solved -Set Input B OFF, select TRENDPLOT, press HOLD, press V Hz A (INPUT B MEASUREMENTS menu), press right arrow key (MEASURE on B), press F4 (ENTER), press F4 (YES, restart TRENDPLOT); TRENDPLOT is restarted now, but the display still shows HOLD in V01.03 and lower.
