This firmware update includes Fluke 744 HART support for:
- ABB / Kent Taylor 600T pressure transmitter v5.3
- Foxboro I/A Pressure transmitter v5.2
- Honeywell ST3000 pressure transmitter v6.4
- Rosemount 3144 temperature transmitter v5.4
- Rosemount 644 temperature transmitter v5.7
- Rosemount 3051C pressure transmitter v5.7
The update is performed on a Windows PC with the 744 connected via serial cable. Follow the instructions for doing the update. Do not turn off the PC or the 744 while the update is in progress. Once the update is complete, cycle the 744 off and on and verify the new version number (4.03 or 4.53). It is NOT necessary to recalibrate the 744 after the firmware update has been completed. If you experience any problems during the update, launch the update application and try again. If problems still occur, contact Fluke Support for further assistance.
The Fluke 700PCK Pressure Calibration Kit makes it possible to calibrate your pressure modules at your facility using your own precision pressure standards. The kit consists of a power supply, an interface adapter, appropriate cables, and Fluke 700PC Pressure Module Calibration software. When installed on your PC, the Windows-based software easily steps you through an as-found verification, a calibration adjustment, and an as-left verification. Calibration data is captured for import to your database. A 386 or better PC, running Windows 3.1, or later is required, along with a precision pressure standard with an uncertainty of less than 1/4 that of the pressure module being verified.
This firmware update includes Fluke 754 support for the Rosemount 3051C rev 5.7 HART pressure transmitter. Also in the V1.01 upgrade is additional language translations of the user interface for both the 753 and 754. Extended languages require a special access code and are enabled in the applicable countries. The update is performed on a Windows PC with the 75x connected via USB cable and using the battery charger for power. Follow the instructions for doing the update. Do not turn off the PC or the 75x while the update is in progress. Once the update is complete, cycle the 75x off and on and verify that the new version number is version 1.01 ). It is NOT necessary to recalibrate the 75x after the firmware update has been completed. If you experience any problems during the update, launch the update application and try again. If problems still occur, contact Fluke Support for further assistance. Software licensing information that is required for the open-source software used in the 75x is available here.
Fluke DPCTrack2 provides functionality to manage your instruments, testing strategies, calibration results and communication with the Fluke 75x and 74x documenting process calibrators. It also has the ability to generate and print a variety of standard reports related to calibration. This download is the full software package and all functionality is enabled for a 60 day trial period. After the 60 day trial, the software is limited in functionality until it is purchased.
This current downloadable is version 2.1. It is a free upgrade of the original 2.0 release and provides customers with a choice of six user- interface languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish. The language chosen at installation will determine the default language when DPCTrack2 first runs. This default locale language can be reset from within the application. The language locale setting can also be set at a user-specific level.
For current v2.0 users: Your database for DCPTrack2 v2.0 will not automatically populate into this newer version. To get your v2.0 database converted, choose “Start Conversion - DPCTrack2 20” which is the fourth option on the start screen when the software launches for the first time after the install. If you missed doing the conversion at first launch, then you can do it instead by choosing to launch the utility form the Start menu: Start – All Programs – DPCTrack2 2.1 – “Convert from DPCTrack2 2.0”
This is the driver that will enable Windows programs to communicate with the 753 and 754 through the USB port. Download this self-extracting installer and run it. Once installed, the 753/754 will be assigned to a Windows COM port. If necessary for the software package you are using, launch the windows device manager and you see what COM port has been assigned. If you have already installed DPCTrack2, then it installs this driver and it should not be necessary to do it again. For other software that communicates with the 753/754, you will need to install this driver. Some software will automatically find the appropriate COM port and some will require that you manually configure it by inputting the COM port that the 753/754 is communicating on (this is shown in the Windows Device Manager). See the particular software for more information. |
