Modified start-up to automatically search for available parts when the last selected port is not correctly connected to a supported meter.

Auto compresses connected database on exit from FVF when possible. Makes a backup of the pre-compressed file with the additional extension of ".bak".

Release compatible with the latest security updates, including utilizing Microsoft's run time libraries in side by side assemblies.

Revision 3.4 August 2008 Increased Vista compatiblilty using HTML Help and digital signatures.

Added capability to support the 289 firmware upgrade for Names List and saving meter screen shots.

Added capability to support the 8846A firmware update and auto detection of the meters in native mode.

Added the 975 USB driver directory to the FlukeView Forms directory during installation

Modified the event data exported from the "File/Export Data" dialog to provide greater resolution on timestamps and an additional 'table' to support easier graphing/processing of the sample/max/min readings.

Corrected a problem whereby users in the Southern Hemisphere, when transferring data from an attached meter (289/287, 568, or 975) to FlukeView Forms, the timestamps may be off by an hour. Now correctly displays the timestamps.

Added the ability to activate the Designer from FlukeView Forms through the "Designer" button

Modified the Options/Communications port selection dialog to display "search results" for each of the detected communication ports. The user can use the checkbox next to each "port" to specify which ports to test for communication. The currently selected port will be highlighted.

On line logging has been modified to include a Sample reading at the start of each event and timestamps for the Max and Min readings in each event.

Testpoint Reading properties may now be modified within the Designer for the 975, 983, 289 and 568 instruments by specifying the column number of the data to be displayed.

Added two new right click menu items: "Suppress Dates" and " Rename Session" for the Logging Summary form item for various instruments.

Revision 3.1 January 2006 Several enhancements have been made to the Amplitude Histogram:
  • Traces from multiple data groups (up to six) can be displayed on a single histogram.
  • The ability to set Manual Zoom values has been added to the histogram.
To allow for future Fluke instrument additions, the ability to "Add-in" Fluke instruments has been implemented. ( To obtain the latest software required to connect your Fluke instrument to FlukeView Forms, you can check for software updates through the "Check for Updates" Help menu in FlukeView Forms. )

To assure database integrity, a FlukeView Forms database cannot be opened by more than one application across a network.
