These thermometers are great for adjusting expansion valves (setting superheat). We set up 8 of the fluke 50 series thermometers and set the superheat on 24 evaporator coil in a few hours. July 28, 2012

The Fluke dual read thermometer is great for my application allowing me accurate up to the minute measurements between the top and the bottom .. As a ceramic clay artist I find the Fluke 52 Dual input Thermometer to be a valuable professional tool. It gives me accurate temperature readings between the top and bottom of my 35 cu ft shuttle kiln. With this knowledge I am able to adjust my burners accordingly to get the most efficient firing in the shortest amount of time. Prior to using the Fluke meter, it was always a guessing game; should the damper go in or out , the air plates open or closed etc The Fluke Meter tells me instantly how the changes affect the heat rise. I Fire to 2400 degrees F and any tool that makes this a great firing without wasting fuel or time is well worth the $. I have used a Fluke meter for over 5 years. I would be lost without it.
