Very well build!
The Fluke 87V is the father of all multimeters. These Fluke meters are tanks and can take the toughest job and survive!!! Build quality and accuracy all over. My boss has a Fluke 87 and after 12 years He checked the calibration and it was right on it...imagine after 12 years a meter that can hold the calibration like when it came out of the box!!!! That is when I realized these meters were the best and I had to have one. People that use Fluke meters will never look back to another meter brands.
Hats off to Fluke for their excellent Multimeters.

Built like a brick
Built like a brick, the most trustworthy meter I've ever worked with my last 30 years in both professional (radar installations etc.) and private (amateur radio stuff etc.) troubleshooting electric and electronic devices and by far the most expensive I've ever buyed but worth every cent! Love it: feels really good and works with very impressive simplicity you can really rely on. A no-brainer to let me concentrate on the faulty stuff. Big time!

Solid and Precise
If you don't lose your tools, buy it once and get a FLUKE.
Clear lighted display, durable and trustworthy.
I got the TL175 adjustable leads as well, they are great.

Very Versatile!
A feature packed meter , A must for trouble technicians and troubleshooters. One meter replaced 5. Frequency and amp measured with the same clamp. I use this meter daily. Cant say enough great about it

AAAA+ meter
If I only needed one meter, this is the one meter I would rely on. From it's quick response to it's multi applications it's THE meter to have. Does everything I could ask for in a meter of this size and cost. Use mine throughout the day to calibrate drives, to checking temps. It does it all. Not cumbersome to tote around. Lots of thought was put into this model.

Rugged, accurate, and easy to use
I have had this product over a year working in the traffic signal industry and it has taken it's share of abuse and still working like a charm. The large digital display makes it easy to read at a distance.

A rugged, dependable, and accurate meter.
The Model 87V was purchased to measure AC voltage for audio, where the measurements above 1 KHz had always been suspect with an older meter I had on hand. Due to the Model 87V's bandwidth out to 20 KHz, I am now able to reliably measure loudspeaker sensitivity using the multimeter in conjunction with a SPL calibrated microphone. This was previously a problem with tweeters since most of their output is above 1KHz.

DMM 87 V
I have use this meter for over a year now and it is definitely professional grade. The accuracy of these meters and the robust manufacturing that goes into these meters is second to none. I have used these meters on the race team in college, as an engineer in the field and on todays highly electronic automobiles. the uses for this meter are endless. This is a must for anyone diagnosing and performing any electrical work on anything.

The best for the money.
I have had my 87V for a few months now and is by far one of the best meters I've owned. I am a Technical Supervisor for a small electronics mfg co and I purchase Fluke products whenever the need arises. Fluke products are by far the best on the market.

Best DMM ever
I've had the 85 for only a year now, and it isn't the industry standard for nothing! On every count this thing beats the quoted specs by a mile. It is built like a tank, and for that I am greatful because I have used this in some nasty places. I feel like I am practically married to my 85, I use it so much. It always works when I need it.

Fluke 87 V Fits the bill
I use this DMM specifically for Cathodic Protection testing, troubleshooting, and training. This versatile test instrument is perfect for demanding and rugged use, and stands up to most field environments, from CP test readings, to troubleshooting CP rectifier components, to investigating stray dynamic AC and DC power on gas distribution and transmission pipelines.

Most accurate and dependable!!!
I would definately recommend this meter the Fluke 87V true rms. I have been in the electrical indusrty for approx 30 yrs and Fluke has never let me down. This meter is very user friendly. it has a crystal clear dimmable led display which is very helpful in the field. Most importantly it is the most accurate and reliable meter I have ever used in my 30 yrs in the trade. This is my second Fluke 87 meter over the yrs and I would not hesitate to buy a third meter.. Another great feaure of my fluke meter is how durable it is. I have dropped my meter quite a few times and a few times off my ladder, I picked it up and it was in perfect working order....

Excellent Digital Multi Meter
I own a small computer business & work on some electronics. This meter does all I need & more. It is well built, it has out lasted other brand meters I have used, & the info I get from this meter is very dependable. Other meters just don't measure up to the Fluke. You may pay a little more for them, but yo get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

Still the gold standard.
I've been relying on a trusty Fluke 79 for 15 years. It was finally time to upgrade and I picked up a Fluke 87. The 87 is a pleasure to use. The selector knob still has that Fluke "snick". The meter has a solid feel. The buttons are easy to operate. I'll be using this meter for at least the next 15 years!
