Designed by electricians. Engineered by Fluke.
For general purpose electrical and electronic test requirements, the Fluke 115 true-rms digital multimeter provides the perfect answer. Its simple operation, compact design and ease of use makes it perfect for quick verifications and field service use.
The Fluke 115 displays true-rms voltage and current readings with 6000 count resolution, tests diodes, frequency, continuity and capacitance and provides Min/Max/Average readings to record signal fluctuations. A large white LED backlight aids work in poorly lit areas. Its easy-open battery access door makes battery changes a snap.
Fluke 115 multimeters are independently tested for safe use in CAT III 600V environments.
And check out other members of the Fluke 110 family: the Fluke 113 Utility Multimeter, the Fluke 114 Electrical Multimeter, the Fluke 116 HVAC Multimeter and the Fluke 117 Commercial Electrician’s Multimeter.
Also check out the Fluke 114 Electrical Multimeter, the Fluke 116 HVAC Multimeter with Temperature and Microamps, and the Fluke 117, the Electrician’s Multimeter with Non-contact voltage.

A Great Starter Meter. I Love It.
This meter is a good starter meter. It has a very big display a bright back light, and is very accurate. I use it to electrically diagnose motorcycles. And it gets the job done. Downside is the fuse. It is a very hard fuse to find and is pretty expensive. Advice buy a fuse buddy save yourself 10-18 dollars every time you have that blown fuse accident.

Dead Nuts On
I bought the Fluke 115 because it's small and my application requires moderate accuracy. My biological father works in an electronic test lab, so he said, "Let's plug that 115 into something accurate and see how she does."
Although the resolution is less on the 115, even when tested against equipment at 100x the reported accuracy of the 115, the 115 is dead nuts on. +-2%
That's why I use Fluke. Their stuff is intelligently designed so you don't have to mess with it. The dial turns with the same thumb you hold the meter with.
And it's got capacitance!! What a bonus! My wife is prettier, but my Fluke is more reliable.

Best meter I have used for car audio
Purchase this meter by recommendation by another installer. Has all the settings i need for doing car audio testing as well as general home electrical. LCD screen is clearly visible and has a nice light blue back light, best feature i like it auto cut off. Most meters shut off after 2 to 5 min which is nice but with the fluke it does the same but when testing is done the auto timer resets which is great when doing remote starts/alarms..also love all the attachments thats available
