New Fluke Test Tool Catalog showcases new tools for electricians, technicians, and engineers
Showcases opportunities to reduce costs, increase equipment reliability and team productivity, and step up to modern system troubleshooting

EVERETT, Wash. – Fluke Corporation, the global leader in portable electronic test and measurement technology, has published its new 2011 Test Tools Catalog, filled with not just tools, but expert advice on how test tool usage can improve the bottom line for commercial and industrial facilities and for contractors. The catalog is available to order.

Starting with a three-page spread on the newest test tools Fluke has to offer, the 68-page catalog goes on to unveil a new, easy-to-use format derived in good part from customer suggestions.

The latest Fluke tools are different from the rest. They’ve been developed in response to the 2011 industrial and commercial working environment. More electronic equipment, tighter, more complex panels and more pressure to make equipment last, and to get as much or more accomplished with smaller teams. How can a test tool help with that? By anticipating those needs and smartly innovating solutions that really do make a difference.

The iFlex current probe threads around large, tightly packed cables. The detachable 365 Clamp Meter features a detachable clamp to snake into a cabinet and reach small wires. The four-channel 190 Series II ScopeMeter allows one tool to do the work of four, and the wireless 233 multimeter and 381 Clamp Meter allow one technician to be in two places at once. The 810 Vibration Tester gives incoming technicians immediate capability to diagnose mechanical equipment in the way that previously only highly experienced veterans – now gone from the workforce – or highly expensive consultants could. And the new TiS thermal imager puts accurate, rugged thermal imaging capabilities into the hands of more people. The list goes on, from the 1555 Insulation Resistance Tester to the Fluke 2AC VoltAlert™ Voltage Tester and the Tl175 twistable test leads, the breadth and depth of Fluke innovation continues.

The 2011 catalog also details the full range of Fluke tools, including clamp meters, digital multimeters, laser distance meters, earth ground testers, electrical testers, indoor air quality tools, insulation resistance testers, power quality analyzers, process calibration tools, ScopeMeter tools, thermal imagers, thermometers, infrared windows, the vibration tester and Fluke accessories.

Graphical illustrations of industrial and building facilities help readers understand which tool to use where to diagnose and maintain their operations. A “quick find” card makes it easy to locate information in the catalog about a specific test tool.

An online edition will be available in March at http://www.fluke.com. In the meantime, you can easily order the printed version by filling out the online order form.
