The new line of handheld tools, designed to improve process technicians’ productivity, include improved source and measurement performance, better battery life with configurable power settings, an upgraded protective holster, flash firmware upgradeability, and a variety of other device-specific enhancements.
The 700 series includes the 712 RTD temperature calibrator, 714 thermocouple calibrator, 715 volt/mA calibrator, and the 717 and 718 pressure calibrators. The addition of a new switch test function on the 717 and 718 pressure calibrators reduces by as much as 50 percent the amount of time technicians have to spend verifying pressure switches. Testing pressure switches typically makes up at least 30 percent of the pressure calibration workload.
Together with Fluke’s loop, multifunction, intrinsically safe and documenting process calibrators, the 710 series represents a comprehensive product line designed to meet all the needs of process technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting process instrumentation.
