has announced a free firmware upgrade for its popular 430 Series Power Quality Analyzers.
With Version 1.10, Fluke 430 Series owners can expand their measurement capabilities and
increase the speed of using the tool.
The new capabilities provided by the upgrade include programmable ratios for metering and high
voltage applications using secondary CTs and PTs. When coupled with the new Fluke i5s 5A
current probes, you can easily verify revenue meters with a simple manual pulse count button.
The streamlined Fluke 430 Series firmware enables quicker navigation and measurement
execution through new shortcuts and an improved warning message system. With Version 1.10
you can toggle quickly between phase-to-neutral and phase-to-phase readings, conduct faster
trend analysis with vertical axis that scale automatically, and view setup screens in English,
French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Russian.
The upgrade is available at no charge at www.fluke.com/430upgrade. Once you register your
430 Series meter you will be provided with step-by-step upgrade instructions. If you have
already registered your product simply register it again. The upgrade takes only minutes and can
easily be done on a personal computer. The upgrade includes FlukeView Version 3.10 which is
compatible with both the Fluke 434 and 43B Power Quality Analyzers.
