EVERETT, Wash. – Fluke Corporation, the global leader in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, has published the latest editions of Fluke News, its popular publications for electrical, plant, electronics and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians.

Four industry-focused issues are available for online subscriptions at the Fluke News web page. Technicians can also subscribe here to have printed copies mailed to them. Published twice a year, Fluke News gives industry technicians and maintenance professionals insight into the techniques and tools they need to do their jobs. Topic areas include:

Fluke Electronic News -- For electronics or electrical engineers who use meters and oscilloscopes in prototyping, design and field evaluation situations. The latest issue covers event logging with multimeters, testing aircraft alternators, and takes the reader inside a nuclear plant.

Fluke Plant News -- For electricians or electrical supervisors who install, service and maintain electrical systems OR field service technicians servicing remote equipment in industrial environments OR process engineers or technicians maintaining equipment in the field or in a plant. In the latest issue: industrial safety at the Martinelli’s cider plant, measuring performance of variable frequency motor drives and using thermal imaging to spot electrical problems.

Fluke Electrical News -- For electrical contractors or electricians performing work in single and multi-family dwellings, strip malls, hotels, office buildings, hotels, and/or factories. The issue just out focuses on maintaining variable frequency drives, electrical inspections using thermal imaging, and using a power quality analyzer to head off problems.

Fluke HVAC News -- For HVAC contractors, commissioners, systems engineers, technicians, and others involved in HVAC design, installation, operation, and maintenance. The latest issue discusses using thermography to spot residential energy losses, how to control humidity in demanding conditions, and how an Indiana technician chases the ‘dirty socks’ smell out of ventilation systems.
