Fluke Corp. Donates Test Tools to Perry Technical Institute
Yakima, Wash.-based school provides industries with well-trained workers

EVERETT, Wash. – As part of its support of education and training programs, Fluke Corporation has donated more than 125 test tools and accessories to Perry Technical Institute. The donation, which supports the school’s technical training programs, is valued at nearly $75,000.

The products include power quality, electrical, pressure, temperature and HVAC tools.

"The Fluke tools provide our students with the opportunity to train on industry-leading, state-of-the-art test equipment,” said Erin Fishburn, director of Perry Technical Foundation. “The support we receive from companies like Fluke is instrumental in providing the highest level of training possible."

Funded in 1939, Perry Technical Institute is a private, non-profit technical school in Yakima, Wash. that offers ten specialized training programs for in-demand careers, including Electrical Technology, HVAC Technology, and Instrumentation & Industrial Automation Technology. The school offers students of all ages and walks of life opportunities to train for jobs that offer family-supportable wages and benefits as well as opportunities for advancement.
