The new version is named MET/CAL 7.01.
"Limited localized language support is provided in the box for: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Chinese," said Robert McKelvy, Fluke Precision Measurement product marketing manager. "We identified the upgrades needed for V7.01 through continued customer research and by listening to end users, understanding and developing on their needs."
Enhanced features
Additional new features in V7.01 include:
- Support for Japanese in the main MET/BASE-7 helps users meet the language requirements without a special version for the Japanese market.
- Additional Warranted Procedures are now available for the V7.01 upgrade.
No additional cost with MET/SUPPORT
Customers who register a new purchase of Fluke MET/CAL Plus V7 receive free membership in the MET/SUPPORT Silver program for 60 days.
This program offers access to telephone, fax and email support, to help users get up and running quickly.
An optional MET/SUPPORT Gold program is also available to MET/CAL Plus users by annual subscription. With MET/CAL Plus Gold, the V7.01 upgrade is available at no additional cost. In addition to priority access to the Fluke software support team, members receive a host of additional benefits including free software updates/ upgrades and discounts on training, and access to an extensive warranted procedure library.
