The Fluke Ti400 is a high performance, 320 x 240 thermal imaging camera that has the resolution, wireless connectivity and temperature range that maintenance professionals need. Auto Focus Redefined

The Ti400 delivers in-focus images like never before with the touch of a button. LaserSharp® Auto Focus, exclusive to Fluke, uses a built-in laser distance meter that calculates and displays the distance to your designated target with pinpoint accuracy. This helps ensure that you get the correct image and temperature measurements of the exact target you're inspecting up to 1200°C (2192°F). Other auto focus systems may focus on the surrounding landscape or closer targets and compromise your ability to get accurate temperature measurements.

Fluke Connect® is a wireless test and measurement system that lets you stay in contact with your team without leaving the field. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tool I have I work for a company that builds and maintains solar arrays, and we use the Ti400 regularly to inspect our inverters, and to find prematurely failing solar panels. This tool has been a huge asset to us and is very user friendly. I would recommend it over all other thermal cameras.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very versatile The Ti400 was originally purchased for annual electrical PM work, but I have been asked to use this camera for many other various jobs including troubleshooting in floor cooling loops at hockey arenas, as well as in ground snow melting heat looks on driveways. Excelent quality and ease of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT CAMERA! Bought this camera for conducting preventative maintenance on our substations. First time out we found three "hot" connectors. We were able to fix these issues before they caused a major outage. We also found a couple of issues for our large power customers that we told them and about and saved them from future problems. Lately, our member services department has been using this camera to conduct *energy audits" for our customers. The camera has turned out to be a great tool for more than what we originally purchased it for!

Its intuitive, steady and great for professionals as well as new users. Software included is great and easy to install/use and is included at no-charge. Reports are VERY customizeable and look professional. Images are awesome, great Auto Focus and its a joy to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electrical Engineer, Technical Director I recently acquired a Fluke Ti400 infrared camera, and as a Site Survey (troubleshooting) Electrical Engineer I utilize its high performance features which makes my work accurate, fast and easy. Working in industrial environments (performing electrical inspections), I can discover electrical issues in motors, circuit brakers, electrical equipment, things I never would have seen before. With the Fluke Ti400, I can spot potential problems before they develop and could cause major damage such as plant shutdown. The critical Benefit of the Fluke Ti400 is that equipment failure can be detected and replaced before it’s too late. Early detection of a failing component allows for scheduled repairs and avoids costly downtime.  I ‘m able now, to check bearings on rotating equipment, locate “hot spots” in furnaces and process tanks, indicating thinning or missing refractory lining or insulation. Failure to identify these areas can result in catastrophic failure leading to safety-related problems as well as a loss in production. I can work now in preventive maintenance applications, checking the safety of power switches, critical to plant operation, and measuring the amount of product in bulk tanks. One of the characteristics of the Fluke Ti400 infrared camera that  I like the best is the “intelligent”  LaserSharp AutoFocus that provides perfectly focused images. This characteristic is the single most important thing to ensure when conducting an infrared inspection. Laser Sharp auto focus tells you exactly where you are focusing. Place the red laser dot on the equipment you are inspecting, then pull and release the trigger for a perfect in-focus image that enables me to provide a proper diagnosis.  The resulting thermographs reveal a spectrum of heat signatures that we can’t see with our naked eye, making them invaluable for spotting hidden problems.

This happens when you have your camera attached to Smartview. The upgrade bricked my camera. It may be weeks until the issue is resolved even though I am sending it back right away. Well right away after they issue me an RMA which apparently takes a few days. not happy
