Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Bag The bag is great as long as you keep your heavy stuff to the bottom. As soon as you add hand tools to the pouches. The bag tips over. It had plenty of storage for meters and tools. I typically have 2-3 meters with me in the field. Along with a host of other electrical tools. I even carry my 12 volt power tools with me in this bag. However it is not perfect. The soft collapsible sides and the tipping over are really inconvenient. I have spilled my tools out of this bag several times which is annoying. It is decent for entry level or to get you started. But I also have a veto bag that I much prefer to this. Though it was nearly twice the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pack 30 professional backpack The back pack looks very nice however when loaded it falls backwards with the weight the sides are flimsy and fold it makes the backpack cave in an fall back I had a shoe maker put a hard polycarbonate thin sheet to add rigidity to sides wich solve the problem it was sown back together properly and it made the backpack perform better when loaded with tools

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bag, but needs tweaking I have been using this bag on a daily basis for a little over a year, the hard shells were the selling point for me to protect my meters, would be good to see the side pockets as a hard shell as they are the perfect size for clamp meters but in the current fabric version if you put your clamp in there it gets knocked around a fair bit. Bag struggles to stand up by itself when even slightly opened and the fabric pockets inside are a little light to cope with stabby electrical tools. After a year the zip on the main hard shell has failed so I've retired it from service. All up, great ideas for the first version, add in some quality zips, fabric, and some balance for the next version and I would definitely buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awesome Layout. Horrid Pocket Material. I've been using a backpack for a tool bag for around 6 years. I started with a (competitor brand), used it for 1 year, then upgraded to a new (competitor brand) model. I used that backpack for 4 years, and the only issue I ever had was the zipper after year 3. Well, when I saw that Fluke released the Pack 30, I fell in love with the space that it offers. The Pack 30 offers the best pocket and space combination in the market in my opinion. When I purchased the bag, I put a 1 month review of it on (website) stating how much I liked it, but my concerns of the thickness of pocket materials. Well, after 6 months of use, the holes in the pocket began to be very noticeable. My pliers (not even sharp) began rubbing holes and getting stuck when trying to get them out. I really would like to see this model receive a fabric upgrade, and also a spot dedicated for precision drivers. Fluke did honor their warranty, and send out a replacement. Hopefully this bag will last long enough for them to revamp the design, so that I may purchase that one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top Tier; 2nd Gen Dream? The backpack tool bag is an excellent choice for someone who has an abundance of tools that they would like to carry all at once. I believe this bag can carry much more than the other options on the market. I have 2 specific gripes about this product. To start, the internal pockets wear through from the head of diagonal cutters or such. These pockets need to be heavier duty, for sure. Secondly, there isn't any spots to put precision screw drivers. There is a spot on the "lid" of the main pouch to add some elastic straps or something. I still use this bag over every other option, because of the vast amount of tools that can fit inside. Also the padding is great on the outside pockets.
