If You’re in Food Processing, How Many of These Are You Doing?

Significantly improve equipment performance, compliance, reliability, and lifespan

Fluke 810 Handheld Vibration Tester

Fluke 810 Handheld Vibration Tester

February 2012

  • Conduct automated vibration analysis of mechanical equipment and pinpoint the location, the cause, and severity of the problem
  • Identify bearing problems, misalignment, looseness, and unbalance
  • Synchronize and view four different automation sequences with one oscilloscope
  • Troubleshoot VFD and PLC digital signals and power parameters with power quality analyzers and oscilloscopes
  • Trace faulty analog I/O signals by using a milliamp clamp to measure milliamp signals without breaking the loop
  • Calibrate pressure and temperature sensors transmitters in the field
  • Inspect steam pipes and traps with thermal imaging
  • Conduct non-contact thermal inspection of conveyors to spot bearing, lubrication, and motor issues
  • Measure and log highly accurate, repeatable temperatures with a non-mercury portable reference thermometer
  • Accurately troubleshoot electrically noisy devices with filtered clamp meters and multimeters
  • Spot-check electrical panels with thermal imaging and follow up with basic voltage and amperage measurements

Fluke 190 Series II ScopeMeter® Test Fluke Ti10 Thermal Imager

Fluke 190 Series II ScopeMeter® Tool

Fluke Ti10 Thermal Imager

  • Connect an electrical measurement tool at one point, remove the display, and walk up to 30 feet (9 meters) away to test a controls sequence
  • Resolve intermittent equipment performance issues by logging signals over time to capture the specific event, usually a conflict between electronic and electrical systems
  • Verify health, integrity of bus and network physical layer signals with ScopeMeter® bus health
  • Improve output consistency from cooking and packaging application with thermal scanning
  • Document field calibrations of signal tests with a portable recorder, either a documenting process calibrator or a handheld ScopeMeter® oscilloscope
  • Resolve the root cause of motors or transformers that run hot with power quality analysis
