Warranted Procedures for MET/CAL®Plus
MET/CAL® PROC procedures are optional calibration procedures for MET/CAL®Plus Calibration Software. This class of MET/CAL® and 5500/CAL procedures, produced by Fluke Precision Measurement engineers, is designed to satisfy your need for ready-to-go, fully tested procedures.
MET/CAL-PROC procedures are warranted by Fluke Corporation to produce valid calibrations on the intended unit under test (UUT) for the specified model and revision level. The warranty assures you of Fluke's full support for the original, unaltered procedure.
Once installed and operational, these procedures automate the calibration process under MET/CAL control as described in the UUT's service documentation. In many cases, multiple procedures are provided for each model to provide "verification only" and "adjustment" procedures. Multiple procedures also may be provided which give you a choice of different standards to perform the calibration.
MET/CAL and 5500/CAL Core Procedures
A number of example procedures are supplied free with MET/CAL and 5500/CAL. You may download these procedures from this website, use them ?as is? or as a template for developing your own custom procedures to fit your operation?s specific requirements and calibration workload.
User-Contributed Procedures
Fluke also makes user-contributed procedures available for download at no charge. User-contributed procedures are not supported or maintained by Fluke. Each lab must verify that these procedures are adequate to meet their needs before use.

How to get free access to the Procedures Library
MET/SUPPORT Gold is an annual membership program offering premium support and services to help you stay as productive as possible. Gold members receive free access to all MET/CAL and Portocal procedures, as well as a host of other benefits. Use only a few of the Gold services and you can easily recover more than the cost of your membership fee.
Download or Purchase Procedures
It is easy to download the free MET/CAL core or user-contributed procedures, as well as to purchase and download Warranted Procedures. The procedures are available on a special Fluke MET/SUPPORT members-only site. Membership is free and easy to obtain. To become a member:
- Go to http://support.fluke.com/
- Select your preferred language from the pull-down list.
- In the field next to "Name of the site where you want to go," select "Met-support" from the pull-down list and click the Register button.
- Fill out and submit the registration form.
- You will receive email from the site administrator when your registration has been approved .
- To logon once you have become a member, just follow steps 1 through 3, clicking the Logon button instead of the Register button. You'll be asked to type in your user name and password.
- Once you have logged in, click the Search button and search for "procedures." If you are a MET/SUPPORT Gold member you will see a place where you can go to download procedures at no charge. Otherwise, you can go to the MET/SUPPORT Silver site to view and purchase procedures.
