IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read the following instructions prior to installation if you have a previous version of Viewer Software installed.

A. Upgrading to Viewer version 1.5 from Viewer version 1.0.8

Please first take a backup of your database and then uninstall your current Viewer Software version by following the steps below:

1. Open Viewer Software.
2. Click on the “Preferences” menu at the top.
3. Select “Take Backup” from the menu at the left.
4. Click the “Browse” button to select the location for the backup file and then click “Create Backup” button.
5. Once backup is created, uninstall the current version of the Viewer Software by clicking “Uninstall Viewer Software” from Start » Programs » Fluke.

Install version 1.5 by clicking on the .exe file, you previously downloaded from the link above.

Once the installation is complete, please restore your backup data by following the steps below:

1. Open Viewer Software.
2. Click on “Preferences” menu at the top.
3. Select “Restore Backup” from the menu at the left.
4. Click the "Browse" button to select the location of the backup file you created prior to installation and then click the "Restore Backup" button.

B. Upgrading to Viewer version 1.5 from Viewer versions prior to 1.0.8

If you are upgrading to Viewer 1.5 from Viewer versions prior to 1.0.8, the upgrade will erase all machine setup and diagnostic history from your PC.

Restoring erased data to the Viewer software application:

1. To recover data transferred from the Tester into Viewer software but NOT deleted from the Tester, upload data back into the updated v.1.5 Viewer software using the normal Transfer function within the software.
2. To archive data previously transferred to Viewer then subsequently deleted from the Tester, we recommend generating a .pdf report for each machine setup using the Report function within the Viewer software PRIOR TO UPGRADING TO V.1.5 Data gathered prior to the upgrade cannot be restored to the Tester.

Viewer 1.5 is compatible with 32 bit and 64 bit Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.
